A rather reliable leaker may have revealed the Nintendo Switch Pro SoC number: it is a customized NVIDIA Tegra Orin.
kopite7kimi is a pretty reliable leaker. in a recent tweet he posted an image of a new die of an NVIDIA Tegra Orin chip , the model of which is T234. In the same tweet he said that a customized version of the same chip, branded T239, will be mounted inside the Nintendo Switch Pro.
If so, it is a chip based on the Ampere architecture with a GPU with 2048 CUDA. The CPU, on the other hand, is made up of 12 ARM Cortex-A78AE cores.
Obviously this is a rumor and as such it must be treated, also and above all considering that, being a customized version, it could have very different specifications. This rumor, however, would agree with others released in the previous days, who claimed that Nintendo Switch Pro will have a clock speed of 1GHz in docked mode, and 768 MHz in portable mode.
In addition, the chip could support DLSS technology , thanks to which to increase the framerate.
Although many claimed that Nintendo should have presented the console in recent days, Nintendo was, as always, impenetrable. Moreover, in the Direct of tomorrow, there should be only video games. What do you think will happen?
