In an interview with Famitsu Miyazaki spoke in detail about Elden Ring, saying he is confident that the game will be released on time and it will take 30 hours to finish it.
In a recent interview with Famitsu, Elden Ring director Hidetaka Miyazaki spoke in great detail about his highly anticipated game. First of all he wanted to reassure everyone: despite the mysterious development and the long silence, he is sure that the game will be released in time and will not suffer any delays. From what emerges, in fact, the game seems to be in an advanced state of development, so much so that its longevity is already known in general: it will take about 30 hours to finish it.
In this interview, the brilliant director has released many more details than we have collected in our special of Elden Ring . For example, he talked about the map, calling it the largest of From Software , able to give the player more freedom than in the past. There will be optional and secret events to discover.
It is therefore difficult to quantify the longevity of this experience, because a lot will depend on everyone’s style of play. To get to the credits it will take ” about 30 hours , without taking too many detours”. However, it will be necessary to replay the entire experience to see all the expected endings, given that there will be multiple endings, which will obviously change based on what has been done during the game.
In the interview Miyazaki also talked about some gameplay details . For example, he said that character customization will return, as well as the Battle Arts system, even if they will no longer be tied to the single weapon, but there will be over 100 different techniques.
Another novelty of the combat system is related to the Spirits that can be equipped. Each of them will have some sort of specialization (defense, attack, distraction) and can even be upgraded.
Very interesting will be the possibility of playing with friends or giving priority to their messages and bodies over those of complete strangers.
