Apparently, the game’s trailer was released by mistake on a Japanese channel before the official announcement itself.
E3 2021 is just a mere matter of days away, and in addition to seeing video games that many have even been waiting for years, we will also find announcements of completely new works. It was precisely expected that Monark, the RPG of former Shin Megami Tensei developers, was among these ‘surprises’, although little by little everything is coming forward in the form of a leak.
Monark will arrive this year, according to a leak
Thus, in this case we know from the hand of the user @Renka_schedule that, apparently, the Monark announcement trailer has been leaked through the Furyu channel. This was something that a priori had to happen during June 10, 2021, which coincides with the celebration of the Summer Game Fest 2021 – or at least that is how it was anticipated in the original confirmation of Famitsu -. Logically, this event has left us with news for the game, in particular the one that refers to its launch date.
In such a way, according to the leak in question, which of course seems to be real, Monark would see the light during October 14, 2021. It is important to note a couple of key points about this: First, the date could be only for Japan, as we do not know if it will have a simultaneous release worldwide. Second, unfortunately, no launch pads are provided, something that will possibly be explored by the time the official presentation occurs.
We will remember that for the moment what is known about Monark is that it will be a ‘school setting’ RPG. This means, as we have been seeing with Atlus in Person and Shin Megami Tensei, that Monark will enter that adolescent concept that has been explored so much through the aforementioned SEGA franchises. Hopefully, June 10 (whether it’s at the Summer Game Fest or not) will clear up all doubts about this eye-catching project.
