PlayStation is experiencing a great moment and today this was revealed with the presentation of the Sony IR Day 2021 Game & Network Services Segment document, where Sony collected and shared the details and data of its video game business today. In one of the sections, the Japanese company highlighted the perception of PlayStation as a brand, which has led it to rank 9 in the Top 10 of the most recognized brands worldwide.
As you can see in the image, PlayStation already shares the top with brands of the caliber of Apple, Amazon and LEGO, which has led Sony to consider that the brand is living its best moment because it is stronger than ever. Likewise, the company shows the Momentum that PlayStation has experienced as a brand since 2018 and the rise it has had since 2020.
Within this same document, Sony expressed its plans for the PS5 cycle, where it announced that its goal is to achieve more than 50% of the console market , in addition to revealing that Horizon Zero Dawn has been a success on PC as it has delivered good accounts for your video game business.
