David E. Kelley’s factory is on its way and his next series for HBO Max is gradually materializing and he has signed one of his co-stars: Jesse plemons (‘I’m thinking of quitting’) will headline alongside Elizabeth olsen (‘Scarlet Witch and Vision’) the poster of the miniseries ‘Love and Death’.
Based on a true story, the drama will revolve around two couples who go to church and live a quiet life in Texas. Everything seems to be going smoothly until Candy Montgomery (played by Olsen) murders her friend Betty Gore with an ax in 1980. It has not yet fully transcended the main cast of the series. We do know that Plemons will play Allan Gore, the victim’s husband.
Kelley creates the drama from material from the book ‘Evidence of Love: A True Story of Passion and Death in the Suburbs’ and various Texas Monthly articles such as “Love & Death In Silicon Prairie, Part I & II.” Lesli Linka Glatter is directing and Nicole Kidman will have its role as producer.
Thus repeats the producer duet Kelley / Kidman, who after ‘The Undoing’, in a couple of months will premiere ‘Nine Perfect Strangers’, an original Hulu series that will arrive in Spain via Amazon Prime Video and led by the veteran actress.
