A first trailer for season 11 of The Walking Dead has been unveiled, and if it especially teases the production of the final season, it still allows to have a preview of what the last episodes will look like. And AMC continues to give news with, this time, a character known from the comics who reveals himself in costume, enough to tease some changes for the survivors … As you can see below, this is Mercer, who will be played by Michael James Shaw. He wears the recognizable Commonwealth armor but his hierarchical position gives him the right to a particular color, red.
In the comics, Mercer is inspired by Rick and his group when they arrive in the Commonwealth to question the power of Pamela Milton. Since Rick hasn’t been on the show since season 9, one wonders who will take the role of representative of the community of Alexandria in the plots of the series. It could be that several characters, the members of the council of Alexandria, play this role and in turn help to ignite a small revolution in the way of governing the Commonwealth. We know in any case that the beginning of season 11 of The Walking Dead promises to be complicated for Eugene, Yumiko, Princess and Ezekiel, who will be the first to allow us to discover this mysterious community.
