Daymare 1994: Sandcastle will actually be a prequel arriving in 2022 on various platforms.
Do you remember Daymare 1998, the horror game inspired by Resident Evil 2? Now, publisher Leonardo Interactive has announced its sequel. Well, it really is a prequel, as evidenced by its title, which will be called Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle. It will arrive in 2022 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam, and we already have the first details of this survival horror adventure.
The game will be a survival horror in the third person in which we will play the special agent Dalila Reyes, a former government spy now in the service of a unit called HADES It will take us, as promised, to a mysterious place in the darkness of a military research complex where there is something terrible and deadly. To do this, we will have all kinds of advanced weapons with which to deal with terrifying creatures.
The game will arrive in 2022, with no release date announced for now.Its makers promise a mix between action and environmental puzzles, accompanied by a soundtrack that promises to make your hair stand on end and help the terror grow. Its development will be very similar to scary games from the 90s, although with a greater immersion thanks to the power of Unreal Engine 4. They have also made several changes with respect to the original game such as a redesign of the interface or better inventory management.
