Bad news if you were waiting for Axiom Verge 2, the sequel to the metroidvania created almost entirely by the developer Thomas Happ. The creative has announced a new delay in its publication, being now set for the third quarter 2021.

It was scheduled for the end of 2020, but it was delayed until 2021, with no specific date. Happ put spring as the launch frame shortly after. But now, we have to wait until the end of 2021, as confirmed by the developer himself in a documentary made by the IGN portal.
Developer Thomas Happ hasn’t shared too many details about the delay, but says the game “it will be better thanks to the extra time”. Remember that you are the only person in charge of development, so it is even more understandable that you take the months you need to finish the project, dealing with exhaustion and stress.
