The release date of the film Uncharted may have been postponed to 2022, but there is still something to celebrate. At one time, the project did indeed seem cursed and on the verge of being shelved indefinitely. Uncharted ended up finding his Nathan Drake in the person of Tom holland, and is now doomed to see the light of day in theaters. Moreover, an article from New York Times on adaptations of video games to cinema was the opportunity to share a brand new photo from the film. We see the young explorer Nathan Drake flashlight in hand and in the company of Sully, played by Mark Wahlberg.
What are they looking for ? Mystery. In fact, nothing has yet been revealed about the plot of this adaptation ofUncharted, and for now we have to be content with rumors and other fan theories. However, we know that the film is described as a prequel telling the story of Nathan Drake’s youth, and therefore outside of video games, which will not prevent certain key elements from being included in the story, such as the character of Sully or one of Nathan’s great loves. For his part, Tom Holland is going to have a pretty busy year 2021 as he will be starring in Chaos Walking, which is scheduled for release this summer, as well as Spider-Man No Way Home, which should be released next December in theaters.
