New cut for a new role? Sasha Calle aka Supergirl in the movie The Flash has indeed unveiled her latest look on a photo shared on Instagram (see below). A photo that suggests that the DCEU version of the superheroine could be different from the one we are used to seeing. Usually it is Kara Zor-El, the cousin of Superman, which is represented. Her long blonde hair could be swapped in the film by a shorter, brunette cut, unless Sasha Calle chose to shed her lengths in order to facilitate her passage in the make-up lodge. It is also likely that the Supergirl from this movie The Flash either Cir-El.
In the comics, Cir-El is Superman’s daughter, and able to travel through time. She wears a black suit with the El symbol in red on the chest. On the hair side, its cut is similar to that of the young actress. It would be interesting for Cir-El to become the Supergirl of the DCEU, especially since his ability to time travel goes hand in hand with that of Barry Allen, which he demonstrated in the Snyder Cut of Justice League. To be sure, it will probably take a little longer to wait, but a clue could be revealed by future shooting photos. Batman’s presence in The Flash has also been confirmed in pictures.
