Zack Snyder is currently promoting his zombie movie Army of the Dead, available on Netflix and in a number of theaters across the United States. This is an opportunity for the director not only to return to the shooting of this latest feature film or his experience with Warner Bros. studios, but also to confide in the subject of Marvel. The comparison with DC, and in particular the DCEU, is indeed often made, and it is not uncommon for the fans, like the media, to try to determine who follows the best strategy in terms of shared universe. During a question-and-answer session with The Guardian, Zack Snyder was asked what he would have done differently if he had been in charge of the MCU.
“Nothing. I would have changed things that would have made less money or made it less appreciated. But for what they created, I don’t think there is a better way.” he replied. In another interview, Zack Snyder said he loves Marvel and also revealed his two favorite characters. Fans of his work know that before being a director of superhero films, he was mostly a fan of comic books. In his feature films, and in particular his Snyder Cut by Justice League, it is not uncommon for him to try to reproduce the atmosphere and the structure of a comic strip.
