The Elder Scrolls Online versions of the next generation of consoles will be delayed. Instead of June 8, special updates for Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 will arrive on June 15.
To be on the safe side in case of difficulties, we are postponing the release of the improved console edition of EO a week later. That way, it won’t be out at the same time as Update 30 (Blackwood Chapter), and we’ll be able to pay close attention to all the new content. Improved output
The console edition Xbox Series X and P1ayStation 5 is postponed to Tuesday, June 15th. The release date for Blackwood Chapter and Update 30 remains the same: June 1 on PC / Mac and June 8 on Xbox Opera and P1ayStation 4 (backward compatibility will be supported on current generation consoles).
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we try to do our best to ensure that the release of new content goes smoothly and without incident. Thank you for your understanding and support! see you in the Blackwood Chapter next month.
The transfer of nextgen patches will not affect the release of content updates. The Blackwood Chapter and the 30th free update are still scheduled to launch on June 1 for PC and June 8 for console versions.
By separating the release dates of the updates, developers “will be able to pay close attention to all new materials.” The game will run on PS5 and Xbox Series with backward compatibility pending the release of patches for new consoles.
