Reno Galan, Overwatch’s Lead Character Artist resigned from Blizzard Entertainment. Reno worked at Blizzard for almost 12 years, he did not say why he decided to leave the company and what he will do in the future.

Reno’s first project at Blizzard was Project Titan, a multiplayer action game that was later cancelled but became the basis for Overwatch. Reno started out as a character artist and was promoted to lead artist in 2020.
Galan was involved in the creation of a significant part of the Overwatch characters: he worked on Zarya, Junkrat and Roadhog, May, Torbjorn, Widowmaker, Ash and other heroes. Judging by the portfolio, Galan also managed to work on updated versions of characters for Overwatch 2.
Now, Galan writes, he will continue to wait for the release of overwatch 2 as a fan.
