We continue to talk about the next highly anticipated game from Bethesda and after confirming that Starfield will be released exclusively on Xbox and PC, Jeff Grubb goes further by hinting at a postponement of the game, which may not come out at the end of the year as originally planned.
Grubb himself has stated several times in the past that without any doubt Starfield would be scheduled for autumn 2021 with a presentation scheduled for this summer (probably at E3 in June). Apparently, however, the plans have changed and Starfield would now be on the launching pad for Q1 2022, or with release scheduled for the first quarter of next year.
STARFIELD IN 2022, THE INSIDERS AGREE
Among the most well-known insiders, we find for example new statements by “Skullzi” , which from the pages of its Twitter account reports a release period of the game set for next spring. According to information obtained through his own sources, the latter claims to be able to consider the arrival of Starfield in 2022 now ” substantially confirmed ” . But not only: the insider indicates in the first quarter the exit window established by Bethesda, with high probability of a publication of the title in March next year. According to Skullzi.
Microsoft would have already purchased spaces published to promote Starfield between autumn and winter, but the release will not take place at Christmas but the hypothesis of an internal postponement is increasingly reflected with the launch now scheduled for the first months of 2022, presumably in February or March, in any case before the end of the fiscal year scheduled for March 31, 2022.
At the moment, nothing of what has been reported has been confirmed and therefore we invite you to take what has been reported with due precautions while waiting for Microsoft and Bethesda to officially remove the veils from one of the most anticipated video games of recent years, which has long been the subject of rumours, leaks and speculations.
