The unveiled trailer for Venom 2 was the opportunity to discover a first glimpse of Carnage but also of Shriek, the supervillain soon to be played by Naomie Harris. If these images mainly focused on the confrontation between Eddie Brock and Cletus Kasady as well as their respective symbiotes, they were also the opportunity to see what seems to be experiments perpetrated against inmates. If it will be a long time yet before knowing how Carnage and Shriek will land in this new chapter, it’s a safe bet that it is thanks to some scientific tests.
The latter might want to carry out experiments on prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment, for example. However, the latter would result in a problem that could favor the arrival of symbiotes. Alternatively, Carnage and Shriek could have been the subject of laboratory experiments, after their discovery. If this scenario spring resembles the first part, it must be admitted that it would be convincing, a combination of circumstances which could lead to their transfer into the body of prisoners such as Cletus Kasady. Another theory suggests that their arrival could be the result of experiments by mad scientists.
While wanting to continue the research started by Carlton Drake (Ahmed Rice), several researchers could have released the symbionts. However, these are only guesses since the reason for Carnage and Shriek’s arrival could be more related to Knull, the leader of the symbionts, and his desire to invade Earth. To find out, however, it will be necessary to wait several more months, the release of Venom 2 having suffered many postponements. However, something tells us that their arrival could be surprising and cause a lot of damage. Enough to make life hard for Eddie Brock and his symbiote!
