After WandaVision, Elizabeth Olsen will star in a new series planned for HBO Max in which she will play a murderous Texas housewife.
WandaVision allowed us to discover the real functions of Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, a role that she will resume within Doctor Strange 2. But the star does not stop the projects there for as much: as revealed ComicBook, she has just been chosen to play the headliner of Love and death, a new series that will air on HBO Max. Elizabeth olsen will play Candy Montgomery, a Texan housewife who will murder her neighbor and friend, Betty Gore in 1980. The story is based on a true story, it will tell how the frustrations and desires of two women from a small town turn into terrible acts of violence.
The story will be based on that of the book Evidence of Love: A True Story of Passion and Death in the Suburbs by Jim Atkinson and Joe Bob Briggs. The screenplay is entrusted to David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies) and Lesli Linka Glatter. Finally, Nicole Kidman is also on board as an executive producer alongside Matthew Tinker. (Big Little Lies) and Helen Verno (Harem).
