A key comic book plot could be adapted with Gabriel and Aaron in Season 11 of The Walking Dead.
First of all, watch out for spoilers on the end of the comics in what follows. While we wait for the broadcast of season 11 of The Walking Dead on OCS, the theories concerning the final episodes are going well, and in particular one on a particular plot of the comics. In the latter, the meeting between Alexandria and the Commonwealth is not easy, and heated argument breaks out when Michonne brings Commonwealth leader Pamela Milton back to a reunion with Rick and Dwight. Faced with the very virulent behavior of Dwight, Rick is then forced to shoot him in the head so as not to jeopardize an alliance that could be crucial.
Since Rick is no longer in The Walking Dead and that Dwight is now in season 6 of Fear The Walking Dead, we imagine that if this plot takes place in the series, it will be adapted with other characters. And some fans think it could be Yumiko, Aaron, and Gabriel. In the event that Yumiko recovers several intrigues of Michonne, starting with a surprise reunion thanks to the Commonwealth photo wall, she could also be the one who organizes a comeback with Pamela Milton. Aaron could take Rick’s place as Alexandria’s rep, and he could be accompanied by Gabriel. The latter has already come close to death several times, especially in his episode with Aaron where Mays asked them each to kill the other.
Gabriel’s death from the comics did not occur in the series, but he could suffer the same fate as the Dwight from the comics after a violent exchange with Pamela Milton. Indeed we have already seen in the episode where he kills Mays that Gabriel does not have faith or confidence in his neighbor, and he could therefore seek to attack the leader of the Commonwealth before being stopped by Aaron who, this time, would kill him well.. Indeed the survivors might have realized how much the Commonwealth could help them with their resources. It could also be that they learn more about the CRM and Rick and think that the Commonwealth would be their only option to try to get their former leader back. In any case, the relations between Alexandria and the Commonwealth will be essential and we already know that if a character comes to endanger them, his survival will be at stake.
