The absence of Blade in the latest MCU line-up has made many fans react, the latter fearing that they will have to wait until the Fifth Phase to discover the new adaptation on the vampire hunter.
The cinemas are about to reopen and Marvel Studios are counting on being present to introduce viewers to Phase 4 of the MCU. With this in mind, the House of Ideas unveiled a teaser in which fans were able to enjoy exclusive images and learn more about the release dates as well as the official titles of the next Marvel adaptations. Among them, Black widow, Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings, The Eternals but also Spider-Man 3 or Doctor Strange 2. However, no trace of Blade, the new blockbuster on the vampire hunter soon to be embodied by Mahershala Ali. This oversight also surprised fans, some of them not having hesitated to react on social networks.
As you can see above, his absence at the heart of the line-up as well as that of Deadpool 3 and of Captain America 4, recently formalized after Falcon and the Winter Soldier, have indeed attracted the attention of fans. The latter wonder in particular why the teaser of Phase 4 of the MCU does not integrate them, Blade having been the subject of an officialization during the San Diego Comic Con in 2019. What to deduce that the future adventures of the superhero could actually be part of Phase 5 of the MCU. Given the unveiled teaser, it’s a safe bet that fans will still have to wait a long time before discovering the blockbuster. Unless Blade is in fact scheduled for October 7, 2022, this mysterious date is still vacant while filming with Mahershala Ali should begin at the end of the year …
