The analyst Mat Piscatella reflects the data of the saga from 1995 until now on the occasion of the day of Star Wars.
How could it be otherwise on May 4, the official Star Wars day, many news about the intergalactic saga are arriving. But, Have you ever wondered what are the best-selling games in the license? Now we know, at least, those who occupy the highest ranking in the United States, where the strong entry of Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order stands out, one of the last works based on the universe of lightsabers.
The well-known analyst Mat Piscatella has published, taking advantage of “May 4th”, the list of the 10 best-selling Star Wars games in history in the United States. Actually, in the period from January 1995 to March 2021, to be more exact. Star Wars Battlefront, the game released in 2015, continues at the top, followed by the aforementioned Jedi Fallen Order.
The published figures only take into account sales in the US.Unfortunately, it does not give the numbers, but indicates that they are data from The NDP Group that have both digital and physical sales for sale. It stands out the inclusion of LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga in the fourth position; with a total of three games from the LEGO sub-series in the Top Ten. Star Wars: KOTOR, one of the highest rated by far, does not appear on the list.
We repeat that the list only counts the computed data in United States, so the list could be modified by adding global sales. It would be interesting to know that information.
What is your favorite Star Wars game?
