The Japanese photography company launches an app and special editions of its Instax Mini printer.
Just in time for the launch of New Pokémon Snap next week, and with a twist that reminds us of the Game Boy Printer that Nintendo released in 1998, the photography company. Fujifilm has made an alliance with Nintendo to make it easier for players to printing photos and screenshots that they have done with their Nintendo Switch.
The application allows you to transfer, edit and print the screenshots of the Nintendo Switch.Fujifilm will launch the next April 30th the application Instax Mini Link for Nintendo Switch, which allows you to very easily transfer the screenshots from the console to a mobile phone, from where you can edit and to print with printer Instax Mini Link. The transfer process is very similar to the one introduced by the console a few months ago: the Nintendo Switch image manager generates a QR code that can be read with the mobile to transfer images wirelessly.
In addition to being able to print the screenshots of the console, the Fujifilm and Nintendo application offers frames, stickers and other decorations to edit your mobile photos with motifs alluding to games like Super Mario Bros., Animal Crossing and Pokémon.
The Instax Mini printer is not a new product on the market, but for this collaboration a special edition in color white with blue and red motifs that refer to the Nintendo console. Also, to celebrate the arrival of Pokémon Snap, a special edition including a Pikachu-shaped case for the printer.
