The spin-off of The Boys is now confirmed, Lizze Broadway and Jaz Sinclair are the first names signed to the cast.
Last September, Amazon Prime Video was building on the success of season 2 of The Boys to announce the development of a spin-off around the satirical series. So few details had been given on the project, Variety today unveils the first two names signed to the casting. Jaz Sinclair, known for her role as Rosalind in the series Sabrina, will play a certain Marie. As for Lizze Broadway (The Rookie), she will lend her features to Emma, the daughter of a superheroine, described as a model student of the Vought Academy but who nevertheless hides an obscure secret… So what do we know about this spin-off at the moment?
According to the first elements revealed on this still unnamed spin-off, the story will take place at a Vought International funded college for young superheroes. “Rated R-rated, the show will explore the lives of hormonal and competitive Supes as they test their physical, sexual and moral limits. They will compete for the best contracts in the best cities,” described Comic Book. At the helm of this project, Craig Rosenberg, who is currently author and executive producer of The Boys. For now, no shooting or release date has been revealed, but we suspect that this new project will be talked about very quickly!
