Roger has never hidden his desire to return to his time, but then, why haven’t Brianna and her husband not returned to the 20th century in Outlander yet?
The shooting of season 6 of Outlander has finally started and fans are just waiting for one thing, for some crisp information to be revealed by the actors. At the moment, the plot of these next episodes is quite a mystery, but not for Diana Gabaldon readers. This season 6 from Outlander will follow the sixth volume of the author of the saga by also incorporating elements of the other novels, as has already been the case until now. In the next episodes from Outlander, Brianna and Roger should return in the future … But why haven’t they done so yet?
In the final episodes of season 5 from Outlander, the young Ian Murray brought Roger and Brianna back to a set of standing stones, so that they could return to the future where they would be safe. However, the couple ended up staying in the past after feeling Fraser’s Ridge was their home rather than the 20th century. They feel good at this time, surrounded by the Fraser family. Brianna has reunited with her mother and got to know her father, precious moments that she doesn’t actually want to say goodbye to. Nevertheless, in this season 6 of Outlander, the writers should return to the plot of the novels and Brianna and Roger should indeed return to the 20th century.
