Developed by veterans after Little Nightmares, this flashy game doesn’t even have a name.
It is always a joy to find games that you were not aware of but in a matter of seconds they end up captivating you, and it is the case that concerns us today. This project, still no name, it only takes 40 seconds for you to want to explore your dark sci-fi world. “We are a small team with extensive experience in the video game industry, having previously worked on Little Nightmares, Little Nightmares 2 or Little Big Planet for PS Vita”, it can be read in the Section 9 Interactive official website.
Seeks to debut on PC and next-generation consolesDescribed as a sci-fi action adventure Set in a dark dying world, the game is scheduled to debut on PC and next-gen consoles at a date yet to be determined. As can be seen in his first images and video, he opts for an overhead perspective, but with a very cinematographic camera that always looks for a way to make an impact visually speaking.
Unlike Little Nightmares and other games of the style, here we have weapons of fire and other gadgets with which we can not only defend ourselves from the horrors that lurk in the shadows, but also overcome obstacles along the way. Among these objects we find, for example, a hook with which to reach distant areas, or even explosives with which to knock down a wall that blocks the way.
For now we do not have more details of this new video game that is still in its early stages of development, so its release date seems quite distant. This Swedish studio became known at the end of last year and since then, in a hiring process, they have been showing small video clips of their first video game. “Discover a world full of mysteries and dangers”, they highlight in one of their messages. “Secrets and loot”, they comment in another in which we see the protagonist open a chest to, presumably, acquire new skills and weapons with which to protect himself.
As we told you, this studio is made up of former creatives from Tarsier Studios, a team that just a few weeks ago we were surprised by another remarkable adventure of puzzles and stealth, as we told you in the analysis of Little Nightmares 2.
