A PlayStation advisory ruled out an option that was already beginning to sound like a great idea among gamers.
Sony just unveiled the March 2021 PS Plus games, featuring Final Fantasy VII Remake as the great protagonist. It already was after its next-generation version was released on PlayStation 5, and precisely thinking about it, as soon as the rumors began to sound that FFVII would be one of the PS Plus games, some fans considered downloading the game a great alternative for PS4 and update for free on PS5, thus enjoying the graphical improvements and the new contents of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. It will not be possible.
The small print The PS Plus announcement includes the following message: “PlayStation Plus users who get Final Fantasy VII Remake (PS4 version) as part of their PS Plus benefits will not be able to get the free PS5 update.” Remember that even having the original game on PlayStation 4, if you want to enjoy the new Yuffie contents you will have to pay them separately when it goes on sale in June, something that has not sat very well among some players of the original.
Final Fantasy VII has starred in several commercials in the last hoursAs we have told you these last hours, the remake of Final Fantasy VII has not been the only game in the saga that has been seen, since Square Enix announced in parallel to the State of Play of PlayStation two new mobile games, both framed in the Final Fantasy 7 universe. The most surprising is the battle royale FFVII The First Soldier that has not left anyone indifferent; being the RPG by episodes FFVII Ever Crisis a more traditional title. The latter will grow monthly with new stories that will encompass all the events related to this title, from Advent Children to Dirge of Cerberus.
On the other hand, in these last hours changes have been confirmed in the organization chart of Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2, with Tetsuya Nomura occupying the position of creative director of this and the rest of the games in the FFVII universe.
