After The Witcher, Henry Cavill could once again bring a video game character to life in a live-action Mass Effect project.
With the officialization of the HBO series The Last of Us with Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey or the development of the feature film Uncharted with Tom Holland, television and film seem to be turning more and more towards live-action adaptations inspired by video games. A dense universe which has probably not finished growing sinceHenry cavill would have teased the preparation of a mysterious project related to the video game Mass Effect. Indeed, via his Instagram account, the interpreter of Superman on the side of the DCEU posted a message at the very least strange that some Internet users have however managed to decipher. If at first glance it could be a script or “from a handful of leaves with random words” as the actor writes under his post, words like “Ceberus“, “Reaper“,”Get“and”Tali’Zorah“subsequently appeared.
A lexical field that fans of the franchise Mass Effect will recognize immediately. For those of you who don’t know, the action-RPG video game series takes place in a sci-fi universe. Similar to a space-opera, this is not the first time that a film project related to the franchise produced by BioWare has been mentioned, a live-action having been announced ten years ago before being abandoned. That being said, Henry Cavill’s involvement in a new project after his role in the series The witcher could allow the film to finally see the light of day. With a status like his, it is certain that the actor’s presence could attract a new audience, not to mention the fact that the comedian has already proven his talents when it comes to portraying iconic pop culture characters. Hopefully fans will get some more information soon, as Henry Cavill is currently busy filming Season 2 of The witcher recently teased in photos by Netflix.
