Aspur Media has confirmed the return of the game originally published in 2005 on PC and Xbox.
The premiere of Star Wars games is always good news, although in this case they are titles that have been behind them for several years; because the good does not age. Aspyr Media has confirmed the release date of Star Wars: Republic Commando in PS4 and Nintendo Switch. The game will be available on these consoles starting next April 6.
In case you don’t know, this is an FPS edited by LucasArts that was originally published in 2005 on PC and on the original Xbox. In fact, it has not been announced for the Microsoft console since said game it is backwards compatible, and can be purchased from Xbox Live.

The game is focused on first-person shooter, but also contains tactical elements when the aforementioned squad comes into play. The campaign will take to places like the desert planet of Geonosis or Kashyyyk, the home of the forests where the Wookiees live. The new version of the game only has the main campaign for a player, but from Aspyr they assure that they have been created modernized controls to adapt to the new times.
It seems that the editor is trying bring back several games with years behind them. The publication of Stubbs the Zombie has also recently been made official, which is resurrected with a remaster for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC.
