It is good to remember the old days and more if they were good. So it’s hard to refuse upon return from Jet Set Radio, or at least a very close relative. Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is the name of the title that looks like fresh from the late 90s and it promises a lot of fun. It will reach PC via Steam and to “all relevant platforms”.
The work of Team Reptile, creators of Lethal League, allows us to go through large scenarios through different pirouettes and impossible tricks. In addition, the aesthetic is really striking, reminiscent of an animation series. Here’s the new preview.
We can have quite a bit of hope in the game, since Hideki naganuma, composer of the original Jet Set Radio, is in charge of the soundtrack. If this is already a compelling reason to take the glove, we must add the fact that we can grind with our skates, jump and paint graffitiAll while giving the police a slip.
While we still did not have an official release date for the game, the same study pointed to 2021 as the year of release. Finally it won’t be like that and Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is coming in 2022. Hopefully this delay serves to polish the game as a whole and bring out the best possible product.
