Telecinco has decided to double its commitment to Turkish series after the good reception that ‘Love is in the Air’ has had. The proof of this is that the Mediaset chain already announces the imminent premiere of the drama ‘My home, my destiny’ through a brief trailer that you can see below.
‘My home, my destiny’ tells the story of Zeynep, a girl who is adopted by the wealthy family of the house where her mother worked as a maid. As is logical, Zeynep grows up with access to all kinds of comforts, becoming years later a beautiful and cultured woman whose life will be complicated by the reappearance of her biological mother. This will make you know that another kind of life is possible.
Demet Özdemir and İbrahim Çelikkol star in this adaptation of the popular novel written by the psychologist Gülseren Budayıcıoğlu. At the moment, ‘My home my destiny’ has released 32 episodes in its country of origin, 12 from the first season and 20 from the second, released on October 1 and still on air.
Telecinco’s unexpected strategy
What is surprising is the strategy that Telecinco has adopted to premiere ‘My home, my destiny’, since the launch of the series will take place this Thursday, February 25, just after a new installment of ‘The island of temptations’. This means that the first episode won’t start until 0:30, concluding at 2:30, which little less guarantees that the Mediaset chain is going to divide its first two-hour episode.
This does not mean that ‘My home, my destiny’ is always going to be broadcast at that time, but perhaps Telecinco wanted to try something different than what they did at the time with ‘Love is the Air’.
