Netflix presents ‘Jupiter’s Legacy’: teaser trailer and release date of the superhero series based on Mark Millar’s comic

When Netflix bought Millarworld it secured the rights to many comics with clear possibilities of making the leap to the small and the big screen. The first project to be confirmed was a series of ‘Jupiter’s Legacy’, which has just been released first trailer and put date to its premiere: May 7, 2021.

‘Jupiter’s Legacy’ tells the story of how the first generation of superheroes, after dedicating almost a century to protecting humanity, must pass the baton on to their children so that they continue their legacy. The problem is that their successors are not going to prove to be up to the reputation of their parents …

Mark Millar, author of the original comic together with Frank Quitely, is involved as executive producer, but the artistic reins have been left in the hands of Steven S. DeKnight, creator of ‘Spartacus’ and showrunner of the first season of ‘Daredevil’.

The cast of ‘Jupiter’s Legacy’ has the participation of, among others, Josh duhamel, Leslie Bibb, Ben daniels, Elena Kampouris, Andrew Horton, Mike wade Y Matt lanter. I’m sure I’m not the only one who is very curious to see its eight-episode first season.
