Samsung’s connected watches, the Galaxy Watch 3 & Active 2, benefit from very useful new health features!
It is the fashion of the moment. With the coronavirus crisis, the health sector is at the heart of everyone’s concerns. This has not escaped the notice of tech builders, who are riding the wave. We saw Apple release the very first watch indicating oxygen saturation in the blood, the Apple Watch Series 6 – currently available on sale – while several giants in the sector are working on the integration of a blood glucose meter for the models. to come up. And we shouldn’t stop there, since today Samsung announces the start-up new features for its Galaxy Watch Active 2 and Galaxay Watch 3 watches.
If you own one of these watches, you can now download the Samsung Health Monitor application from the Galaxy Store. The latter will allow you to benefit from the ECG (electro-cardiogram) function as well as a sensor for measuring your blood pressure. As a reminder, the ECG not only makes it possible to measure the heart rate, but also to detect certain abnormalities of the heart such as tachycardia. As for the tension sensor, it will have to be calibrated beforehand using a conventional tensiometer, in order to benefit from better precision.
