Netflix has just unveiled the disturbing first trailer for The Irregulars, the new Sherlock Holmes spin-off.
The young generation is ready to take over! After the meteoric success ofEnola Holmes, the Netflix film with Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill, the streaming platform continues to develop the franchise of the famous English detective. Indeed, the latter has just shared the first trailer – rather worrying – of her new series to be released on March 26, The Irregulars. This is a spin-off inspired by the world of the famous literary saga of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the father of Sherlock Holmes. And for good reason, the show will tell the story of the Baker Street Irregulars, an outcast group of orphans who attempt to unravel the mysterious supernatural murders rocking London. Crimes perpetuated by an invisible threat similar to black magic. It promises !

And the least we can say is that this new series will plunge us straight into horror! You just have to see the first trailer shared by Netflix to realize it. On the program of The Irregulars : supernatural (a rather surprising element for the franchise), a lot of blood and investigations galore. On the other hand, if you expect the famous sleuth to take the lead, you might be disappointed. And for good reason, even if these marginal children officiate on behalf of Sherlock Holmes, the latter will not play a leading role. This was recently confirmed by showrunner Tom Bidwell at EW : “Our story centers on the Irregulars, the gang itself. It’s their story, their adventure. Sherlock Holmes is in history, it’s his world, but he’s not the center of attention. “ In any case, we can’t wait to find out!
