A Week Away, Netflix’s new musical is revealed in a feel good trailer!
As the saying goes, the best soups are made in old pots! Netflix knows it well, which is why the streaming platform has decided to produce its own romantic musical that strangely resembles the dynamics of the cult saga High School Musical or the legendary film Dirty Dancing. Entitled A Week Away, this teen movie tells the story of Will Hawkins, a rebellious young teenager who finds himself forced to spend his school holidays in a Christian summer camp to avoid going to juvenile detention. A decision that does not enchant him, but which will allow him to meet love in the arms of sweet Avery. On the program of this romantic comedy: love, joy and lots of songs!

Indeed, A Week Away is a feel good musical the way we like them. You only have to see the trailer that has just been released to realize it, it will swing in front of our TVs! It is for this reason that the opus was entrusted to the expert hands of Roman White, a famous director of video clips who worked in particular with Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift.. In the casting, we will therefore find Kevin Quinn (Camp Kikiwaka) as Will as well as Bailee Madison (Once Upon a Time) in the skin of his love interest, Avery. The latter will play alongside Jahbril Cook, Kat Conner Sterling, Iain Tucker and Sherri Shepherd. The film is scheduled for release on March 26.
