The Play at Home initiative is back at PlayStation. Over the next few months, several games will be offered for free to PS4 and PS5 players, starting with Ratchet & Clank (2016) which will be available in March.
In 2021, Ratchet & Clank will definitely be in the spotlight on the side of PlayStation. As we learned about two weeks ago, the month of June will officially mark the return of the two heroes from Insomniac Games to PS5 with Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, an all-new adventure developed specifically for the next generation. But before that, another opportunity will be offered to those who wish to (re) immerse themselves in this universe. Indeed, Sony has just announced the return of the Play At Home initiative, which was launched in 2020 and which consisted of offering several games to players to encourage them to stay at home during this time of a global pandemic. Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey were offered for the occasion.
Faced with the success of this initiative, the publisher made the decision to reiterate the thing once again but pushing the concept even further. Several games will be offered over the next few months, until June to be precise. And to open hostilities, it is the opus Ratchet & Clank released on PS4 in 2016 that was chosen. The game from Insomniac Games will be available for free download from March 2 at 5 a.m. KST until April 1 at the same time. Just like last year, know thatonce the game is added to your library, it will definitely be yours. So even if you don’t plan to play it right away, it will be in your best interest to get it back before it’s too late. It will also be an opportunity to prepare for the arrival of the new upcoming opus.
And if you ever want to discover other opus from the Ratchet & Clank franchise before the arrival of Rift Apart, you can always enjoy a nice reduction on a PSN card worth 50 € thanks to Eneba.
