One theory has put forward the many links between the Lord of the Rings saga and the cartoon Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
As amazing as it sounds Gollum could belong to the universe Star wars. If this theory establishes here a funny parallel between two of the biggest franchises in cinema, new speculation would like that the trilogy of Peter Jackson is in fact linked to the cartoon. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. An idea that at first glance seems absurd but which could actually be based on various similarities. Starting with the fact that the Princess Disney alongside in the film seven dwarfs, in reference to the seven rings forged in Tolkien’s literary saga by the Ñoldor of Eregion. While they were subsequently lost, the Rings of Power have proven to have an influence beyond that exerted on their wearers.
Therefore, it is possible that the Rings prolonged the lives of the Seven Dwarfs long enough for them to survive the near extinction of their race. In turn, and like Gollum after losing the One Ring, their personalities would have deteriorated until they were reduced to unique traits, like Grumpy, Sleepy, or Shy. Another similarity is that Prince Charming is actually Gandalf. Much like Saruman and Radagast, the Gray Sorcerer is a Maia, a race of spirit beings sent to Middle-earth to fight against Sauron. It turns out that Gandalf and the other Maiar took on the appearance of elderly, bearded men in the Trilogy of Lord of the Rings. An appearance in contrast to that of Prince Charming but which could actually testify to Gandalf’s new physique in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, in order to save the Princess.

This one would also be a descendant of Aragorn and Arwen, which could explain why Gandalf wishes at all costs to save her from the clutches of Maleficent in the cartoon. His distant elven lineage would also explain his deep connection to nature and his ability to communicate with animals. Moreover, in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, it is not known how the witch managed to acquire the Magic Mirror. According to this theory, the Dark Lord managed to regain all of his power through this new artifact and convince the Witch to kill Snow White. The goal ? Destroy the descendant of Isildur, the Man responsible for the loss of Sauron in the first place. That being said, the saga of Peter Jackson and the cartoon therefore carry funny similarities which could in particular be explained by the common source of which the works of Disney and Tolkien are imbued with regard to fairy tales. A spring besides not so unique as that for the cinematographic landscape since common points between The Lord of the Rings and the saga Harry potter would also exist!
