(Attention big spoilers!) Hang in there, episode 7 of WandaVision is rich in revelations. Here is what we thought.
Who says Friday says a whole new episode of WandaVision on Disney + ! Since the launch of the series last January, every week has been synonymous with a new revelation or big surprise, so much so that social networks become a real minefield from the first hours after the broadcast. There is also a lot of revelations in this episode 7! A new duo is formed, a new superhero makes its entry and the real person in charge of everything that happens in Westview is finally revealed. However, before it gets to that point, Wanda faces a rather troubling situation.
The reality that surrounds it seems to be getting out of control, with objects and decoration that keep changing and oscillate between eras already revisited by the series. An unforeseen event that falls at the wrong time since Wanda’s morale is already at its lowest. Lucky for her, she can once again count on her neighbor Agnès, always there to give her a hand. Meanwhile, Tyler Hayward and SWORD spring into action and push their plans forward, details of which begin to unravel. The organization doesn’t really appear to be there to help the individuals stranded in Westview, but to recover Vision’s body. The latter also continues his investigation, always in search of the truth, which will lead him to form an unexpected duet with Darcy.
As for Jimmy and Monica, they are doing everything to enter the Hexagon once again, which is the opportunity to finally discover the identity of the latter’s contact, which she keeps mentioning in WandaVision. A mission which will be far from going as planned, which will nevertheless allow Monica to make a clean sweep of certain events from her past and to evolve in a surprising way. After so much emotion and twist the episode could have ended there and slowed down, but that’s not what happens at all. The tension actually escalates as a most suspicious Wanda refuses to believe and listen to Monica. A face to face that will be stopped by Agnès, decidedly always present when her neighbor needs it most.
However, if Agnes is still so eager to help Wanda keep her feet on the ground, it is not out of the goodness of her heart: she is actually Agatha Harkness, and at the origin of the events taking place in Westview. Is she the one and only responsible for this changed reality? What are his motives ? Is she an enemy or a friend of Wanda? Many questions that will undoubtedly find their answers next week, in the penultimate episode of the series. This episode 7 of WandaVision, which is undoubtedly one of the best since the start of the broadcast, marks an important turning point in the plot, but also in the show more generally. The line between sitcom and MCU style is getting thinner and thinner, hinting at the upcoming arrival of even more action sequences.
