This easter egg hidden in Spider-Man Far From Home refers to the Hexagon of Wandavision.
Today is a big day for MCU fans! And for good reason, Disney + has just released the last episode of the first season of Wandavision. A highly anticipated episode since it finally reveals the mysterious antagonist of the series. The perfect opportunity to tell you about this astonishing reference to the parallel world of the Scarlet Witch discovered in the opus Spider-Man Far From Home. Indeed, as revealed by the site Comicbook, there is a hidden easter egg in the movie that takes place seven months after the adventures of Wandavision and eight months after the Blip that claimed Tony Stark’s life in Avengers Endgame. A detail difficult to spot which nevertheless already revealed at the time crucial information on the Disney series. This is when we learn in the post-credits scene that Nick Fury and the Skrull Talos have traded places.
And for good reason, looking a little more closely at the scene where the real Nick Fury is resting on his deckchair, we realize that the dissolving screen is made up of several hundred small hexagons. The same as that invented by Wanda in her alternate reality of Westview, the anomaly studied by the agents of SWORD A mysterious sequence which therefore already teased at the time the arrival of the government agency in the series Wandavision. And that’s not all ! When the latter then rises, the screen on its left also seems to refer to France. We can even say that it strangely resembles the control panel analyzed by Tyler Hayward, a clue that suggests a possible contact between the two characters. Could it then be that the director of SHIELD is making an appearance on the show? We will have to wait for the next episodes of Wandavision for the knowledge.
