I just finished building my dream PC and it just so happens that I finally had enough parts to throw together a fairly decent second PC – 1660Ti, i5-9600k, etc., so I set up a desk next to mine, bought another case and threw together a PC. When my gf gets home today I was gonna kinda surprise her with it (not sure how excited she’ll be, but hopefully she’ll like it), but I wanted to pre-install some games. I’m really excited about this, but I want to make sure she likes the first couple games so that she can feel confident and comfortable, then will hopefully move on to games that challenge her more (ie learning how to move and look around at the same time without wanting to quit lol).
In the past, she’s really liked both Ori games (but didn’t like Hollowknight, which surprised me), [slither.io](https://slither.io), Animal Crossing and some other party games on the Switch like Mario Party and Quiplash. She really struggles with some of the movement and stuff in games like Breath of the Wild and Portal, where you have to move your character and orientation at the same time.
So far what I’ve put on there is The Villain of Edith Finch, The Return of Obra Dinn, Subnautica and No Man’s Sky. I think she’d like platformers and some other simple stuff, but honestly, I’m a Tarkov and League kinda guy, so I don’t really know enough about these games to confidently buy anymore. I would love some guidance! Thank bigly for any suggestions!
TL;DR: Looking for suggestions for a girl who’s new to PC gaming who has liked Ori and Animal Crossing in the past.
