What does this mean? The objective of this proposal is to offer business support to developers of independent games. For this, Marvelous has established a collaboration with GameBCN, a program with similar characteristics based in Barcelona and who has been doing this work for six years.
Among the services offered are the support and guidance on creating games, thanks to study mentors like Edelweiss, Responsable of Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin. In addition, you can also enjoy knowledge support for the promotion of the work, media relations, multilingual help, advice on laws, regulations and contracts.
From iGi they are looking for companies, organizations and all kinds of help to support this program, trying build a collaboration system between the video game industry, governments and academia.
Best of all, the entire catalog of possibilities it’s completely free and lasts for six months, from June to November. For its part, GameBCN will oversee the program, as it has a lot of experience after opening its own project in 2015. Titles like Aragami, from Lince Works, has been one of the greatest successes that have enjoyed this program.
