The week promises to be quite eclectic in JV releases, with some potential nuggets for those who love RPGs, horror games, outright action and even exploration!
Fallen Legion: RevENTS
An RPG that can be talked about
Sequel to Sins of an Empire and Flames of Rebellion, Fallen Legion Revenant promises to be an RPG allowing to follow the story of Lucien, a politician evolving in the flying castle of Welkin, the last refuge of humanity against a mad tyrant who controls the world. The game also seems to offer gameplay similar to that of Project X Zone, for those who have already been able to do them on 3DS. Fallen Legion RevENTS will be available on February 19 on PS4 and Switch in Europe.
King of seas
A little air of deja vu?
When you look at King of Seas from a distance, you might see a resemblance to Rare’s game, Sea of Thieves. After all, it talks about pirates as well. But King of Seas simply stands out: we play it not in first person, but from above, directly controlling our boat. The goal is simple: become the king of the pirates by fighting other ships, discovering treasure and exploring the seas.. A game that will be available from February 18 on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch for € 24.99.
Violence, speed, momentum
Speed Limit seems to live up to its name very well. The pure old-fashioned 2D action game will offer a whole host of challenges for players, ranging from horizontal shooter to top-down car chases and fake 3D. A game that looks particularly inventive and filled with moments made to awaken the adrenaline of players. It will be available on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch from February 17th.
Horror / Adventure Game of the Week
Black Steel is the horror game deposit for the week! Developed by Dojo Games and published by PlayWay, this game is inspired by “The Dresden Files”, a black urban fantasy series and will take place in abandoned car factories. A very industrial atmosphere therefore for this intriguing horror game which should freak out more than one from next February 17, only on PC for the moment.
