This week I made the first shipments to graduate Pokémon cards. This has been my experience.
I haven’t had much rest this week. I have changed the Netflix series to prepare shipments to graduate Pokémon cards. I think it was worth it. I will tell you my experience.
First shipment – PCA in France
I have chosen to start with something simple. PCA is a new charter company. I have two German companies but I preferred this one for a very simple reason. The cost to graduate the cards is almost half. I have not seen the great advantage of making use of the German options despite being faster because at the level of prestige I do not gain anything. I’m not sending the most valuable letters here. It is more of an experiment to see how much having the PCA note for later sale on Amazon influences.
Second shipment – PSA in the US
This one has not quite reached the end yet. I have achieved the part on the platform with PSA, although it is not as simple as that of PCA. The usability is not too good. In addition, I have not been able to find a letter that I wanted to put in the first shipment and that in order not to waste time I have taken it from there. The tricky part has been making the shipment with FedEx through the online form. The web is a botch and after several attempts they have blocked the credit card. I have a significant anger over me because as soon as I get up I have started with this and after 45 minutes I have not achieved anything. Possibly I will approach a subsidiary today at the last minute to deliver it by hand.
Third shipment – CGC in the US
This I am going to prepare today (Friday) so that the visit at the FedeX subsidiary is worth it. I hope that the letters I send to CGC will be returned to me within a period of less than 6 months approximately. With PSA I have 18 months. It is a long time but it will be worth it or at least my theory. CGC has an old platform but at the level of usability much better than PSA, which is the market leader at least if we move into the Pokémon segment. They have entered this market relatively recently and have already captured good market share. If they are fast, I will surely send them a few more letters.
In summary I am a bit frustrated about the FedEx issue but if everything goes well this afternoon things will have changed. Hopefully I will be able to send two packages and about 200 letters for graduation. Let’s see if I’m lucky and they return them quickly (and with good grades).
