I don’t think there is anyone who minimally likes motorcycle games and has not tried the mythical Elasto Mania in 2000. Curiously, it was the same year that the Ilvessuo brothers (Atte and Antti) premiered their no less well-known Trials, which has evolved to the beast until Trials Rising.
The fact is that two decades have passed and that Elasto Mania remains unforgettable, more for the mischief that could be done with the motorcycle, with a lot of inventiveness in the design of levels and impossible stunts, than for its graphics, of course. Hence it is surprising to find that it will have a remastering.
The news went unnoticed at the beginning of the year, blowing up now, where his team makes it clear that following the successful conversion to Steam last year (available for 8.19 euros), they plan to release a remaster for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and current PS5 and Xbox series x|S. Further, the Steam version will be updated at no additional cost to remastering when it comes out.
And what will it offer for improvements? Aside from that more polished version that Valve’s service offered last year, it will feature assets never seen from the creators of Elasto Mania original along with more to announce. Who knows what it will be … But the important thing is that a classic 21st century motorcycle returns.
