miHoYo has the version 1.3 of Genshin Impact, the first major update that the game will receive this year and with which it will welcome a few new features. Thanks to this patch the world of Teyvat will celebrate the lunar new year, allowing players to enjoy the Rite of the Lantern, one of the oldest traditions in Liyue.
In this event you will be able to see the inhabitants of Liyue finalizing all the preparations for this holiday and the ceremony with which it will begin. This will cause hundreds of lanterns to light up the sky with people’s wishes. In turn, there will be all kinds of stores with food stands, games and other activities to participate in them.
Even so, the new update will include many more news, such as the arrival of Xiao as a new five-star playable character. There will also be new missions and rewards that will serve to obtain free Intertwined Fates, Protogems and other resources, as well as the possibility of getting a new four-star character without having to pay anything in return.
The occasion will also be used to implement more customization and interface options or curiosities like the file, in which you can see information about the creatures that have been discovered and how many of them have been defeated. Also, do not forget that the iOS version will become compatible with control knobs.
Genshin Impact Patch 1.3 will be available from February 3rd in all versions of the game, both on PS4 and PS5 for consoles, as well as on mobile devices for iOS and Android or also for PC.
