It is surprising to see how some games come back to life over the years. Rust lived its moment of splendor in the past, when a multitude of streamers and influencers uploaded their games to the networks.

Today the game seems to live a second youth. It has positioned itself as the best-selling title on Steam and the Egoland server formed by Rubius, Ibai or Grefg seems to collaborate in this new success.

One of the main features of the game is that currently only playable on PC, since its launch in early access back in 2013. Now, everything seems to indicate that it will finally reach home consoles.

The console version was announced, was delayed until 2021 without specifying a date and that’s where the information ended. However the ESRB (American system for classifying the content of video games) gives us a new clue.

Rust Console Edition is listed for PS4 and Xbox One. Of course, the game has been rated an M, which means It is not recommended for children under 18 years of age. The cannibalism or violence present in the game has not gone unnoticed by reviewers.

The truth is Facepunch Studios and Double Eleven They have not commented on it, but this detail seems to indicate that the arrival of the game is approaching. Further, backward compatibility both of PS5, like Xbox series x and Xbox Series S, will allow Rust Console Edition to be played on all consoles without any problem.
