London Studio offers glimpses of your next project through their job postings.
After several years focused on PlayStation VR and the world of virtual reality, London studio prepares to make the leap to PlayStation 5 with a new adventure of his own. We are talking about the British PlayStation studio, responsible for experiences such as PSVR Worlds and the most recent Blood & Truth of 2019, both of virtual reality. Well, as they share in DualShockers, London Studio works at a PS5 game unknown, which points to have multiplayer elements.
All this comes through the job offers of the studio, as well as the profiles of LinkedIn of your employees. Starting with the second, the profile of David skilton, director of visual effects at London Studio, mentions that he has been working on a “unannounced PS5 game“, in charge of coordinating the VFX teams and creating their own particle generation tool”new generation“for PS5, among other tasks.
For his part, Employment website London Studio has an offer for a director of online programming. A position that will be in charge of “working together with the engine and gameplay teams to direct the development of the online features necessary for our next great game. “That is, everything indicates that this project will have multiplayer functions, and in case there are doubts about it, the offer mentions that” these functions may include network physics and animations systems, game logic , matchmaking and session management, among other things”.
Make it a game dedicated exclusively to online, or an adventure for a player with online modes, is something that is yet to be seen.
