I remember back on the 360 I had a third person/rts hybrid that I thought was a really cool concept, so this seems equally legit. Keep it up
Scrap the RTS, shooter looks fine!
Are these more common on PC? I have seen some media saying these hybrids don’t work and players have soundly rejected them. And that always sounded like BS— it sounds great to me!

I remember playing a game, circa ~2006 that was a RTS/FPS hybrid. It was a demo, but the mission I remember is leading a few mech/droid units along a road while also having the ability to take one over and fight 1st person. I believe it also had the ability to customize the units which made it all the more immersive. Maybe I’m remembering wrong, but I still think about that game years later. To this day I can’t find what game that was but I believe it’s a genre that hasn’t been explored enough. So many cool things you could do, even having RTS/FPS players play concurrently with their preferred way of playing would be great. Keep going!
