For the study, 611 young people from England, Scotland and Wales were surveyed.

Even so, in the estimation they point out that each user interviewed spends about 260 pounds a year in loot boxes; about 290 euros to change. 15% of the young people confessed that they had taken money without their parents’ permission to spend it on this type of virtual microtransactions.
