Tim Sweeney’s dispute with the apple company will be resolved in court next year.

When the world seemed to forget the dispute between Epic Games and Apple, the Unreal Engine company returns to the fray with its campaign “Free Fortnite“Before the end of the year. And it is that, remember, in August the creators of Fortnite tried to start a viral campaign against those of Cupertino through social networks, even emulating the famous 1984 Apple advertisement, and urging the players to protest the removal of Fortnite from the App Store.

The fact is that now, before the end of the year, Epic Games has begun to give away Samsung mobiles to certain influencers of the sector, again under the slogan #FreeFortnite, in order to revive this campaign. And it has, again, parodying Apple products: the package is sent in a white box identical to that of its rival, but changing the apple logo for a Fortnite flame. And inside are included a Galaxy Tab S7, and an Alpha Industries bomber jacket that shows the flame logo in rainbow colors, like the old Apple logo.

The most curious of all is that this is born from a official collaboration between Samsung and Epic Games, according to the message that accompanies the gift, so it is seen that Apple’s Korean rival has not hesitated too much in signing up for the campaign. “Fortnite is not available on the App Store or Google Play, but you can still download it and receive updates through the Epic app on the Samsung Galaxy Store“, the two companies emphasize in their joint message.

The point is that It doesn’t look like Tim Sweeney and his company will cease their attempts to annoy Apple from time to time, pending a trial that is dated May 3, 2021. In fact, in October Epic Games accused Apple of wanting to steal the fruit of their work, and a month later they filed a complaint against the manufacturer in Australia, covered by its Consumer Law, a country where Sweeney states that “There are other laws, which Apple is clearly violating.”
