Kazunori Yamauchi gives clues about the game, which will arrive in 2021 if everything goes according to plan.

Kazunori yamauchi spoke last weekend on the occasion of the celebration of the final phase of the FIA Gran Turismo Championships 2020. How could it be otherwise, the CEO of Polyphony has spoken briefly about Gran Turismo 7, the new installment of one of the driving sagas par excellence, which will arrive, if all goes according to plan, in 2021 for PS5.

The creator of Gran Turismo promises a great level of detail in the new installment“We always look for the best. We don’t want to make confessions about anything. Our goal is to offer the best to everyone. Not only do I think so, but it is the mentality of the approximately 200 employees that our company has, “says Yamauchi, who promises that they will take great care of the level of detail in the game. The creative also mentions a saying from his native Japan, in the what “the divinity resides in the details”, stating that it is very true and that they will follow this path for their production style.

We’ve seen the odd snippet of Gran Turismo 7 gameplay in the PS5 presentation videos, although many in-depth details about one of the simulation licenses that have the most followers in the sector are still to be known.

In promotional videos, Gran Turismo 7 is dated to the first half of 2021 exclusively for PS5. But for now there is no official confirmation about it. It will be when it is in stores, physical and digital, when we can see first-hand the details that it will count. What we do know is that it will have support for 4K HDR with ray-tracing and 60 frames per second on PS5.
