Avalanche Studios owners buy 40% of MercurySteam, creators of Castlevania Lords of Shadow

Nordisk Games takes an important stake in the Spanish studio based in Madrid.

Nordisk Games announces the purchase of 40% of MercurySteam, the Spanish studio located in the Community of Madrid, responsible for the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow trilogy and more recent titles such as Spacelords. In an agreement for which the exact figures are unknown, although Nordisk assures that it is “a considerable investment“, the Danish company expands its own portfolio that already has names such as the publisher Raw Fury, and the developer Avalanche Studios, responsible for Just Cause.
