Banco Santander, through the company PagoNxt, has launched this Monday in Spain a “low-cost, fast and secure” international transfer service, called PagoFX, available to any user, even if they are not a customer of the financial group.
PagoFX, which premiered in April in the UK and last month in Belgium, will allow any resident of Spain with a debit or credit card to send money abroad “quickly and easily” from their mobile phone, and the funds, in many cases, they reach the destination “in minutes.”
In a statement sent this Monday, the company highlights that PagoFX combines the best of a fintech With the experience and security of a bank like Santander and, due to the coronavirus pandemic and travel restrictions, it launches a promotion without commissions for shipments of up to 1,000 euros before February 28, 2021.
From today it is possible to create an account in a matter of minutes after a short verification process after downloading the service application, and make the first international transfer to any of the 50 available countries, including all those in the euro zone, several Latin American countries, United Kingdom, United States and others.
